Thanks for visiting our site. We are currently constructing the website and will be adding much more as we can. We will soon have a page about the Confederate soldiers that served from Polk County in the 4th Arkansas Infantry under the command of General Evander McNair. We will also have a listing of all Confederate and Union soldiers that are buried in Polk County. Please visit again soon.

Our Commander is currently working on establishing a local charter of the UDC.

Membership in this noble society requires descent from a Confederate soldier that served honorably in the Confederate States Army. If you are not sure of your lineage, I will gladly compile a family genealogy ...for you to confirm your Confederate ancestry. Once confirmed and you decide to join, I will provide you a five generation pedigree chart of your family, suitable for framing.
If you join as a member before the submission of the charter application, you will be named on the charter as an original charter member. We need seven confirmed applicants to establish the General Evander McNair Chapter of the Arkansas Division of the UDC.
If you are interested, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 479-234-3567. I will need your parents and grandparents information to start you family tree.
